Welcome to our 2019 Recital and Information Page!
Come join us for a music recital on Saturday June 8th from 3:30:00-5:45pm (performance starts at 4pm), an event provided by the Music Institute of Seattle!
Featuring world famous compositions for cello such as Popper Concert Polonaise, Saint-Saens Cello Concerto, Lalo Cello Concerto, Dvorak Humoresque and more! We will be featuring young cellists ages 7-16 from Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Renton, Mill Creek and Redmond performing with our feature guest pianist Anastasia Solomatina and musician parents of participating students.
We are thrilled to have virtuoso pianist Anastasia Solomatina to accompany our studio recital this year!
Ask Seattle Symphony Music Director Gerard Schwarz about her, and you'll get raised eyebrows and superlatives: "She's marvelous, an incredible young talent. She's the real thing." The Seattle Times.
