Consultation
New students who are interested in enrolling for the school year begin with a complimentary 20 to 30 minute consultation. This meeting allows us to get to know each other, discuss goals, and determine whether my studio is the right fit.
The complimentary consultation is reserved for families considering ongoing enrollment during the school year. It is not intended for one time lessons or short term summer instruction.

I focus on building disciplined, efficient, and well-prepared students. Lessons center on three areas:
For Students and Families
Students do not need to start at an advanced level, beginners are always welcome. At the start, I work with each student to set clear goals and create a plan. From there, lessons become a collaborative process, following that plan with consistency week to week.
Guidance, feedback, and effort come together to create steady progress. With the right structure and support, students build confidence quickly, and improvement becomes both visible and rewarding. Lessons follow a structured calendar and weekly schedule, as consistency is essential for meaningful progress.
I enjoy working with students who are curious, motivated, and open to learning. Each student is guided at their own pace, with a focus on building a strong foundation, developing musical understanding, and growing confidence in performance.
For students interested in the WMEA All-State Honor Orchestra, District Honor Orchestras, Evergreen Philharmonic, youth symphony auditions (such as Bellevue Youth Symphony and Seattle Youth Symphony), and competitions, I provide clear and practical guidance on repertoire, preparation, and how to practice effectively. Lessons include specific weekly goals so both students and parents understand what to focus on and how progress is being made.
I believe in maintaining high standards while creating a supportive and encouraging environment. With consistency and the right structure, students are able to improve steadily while continuing to enjoy the process of making music. The discipline, focus, and problem-solving skills developed through this work translate into stronger academic habits, greater independence, and long-term success!
