💖 Here’s what you can expect from me:
💰 Tuition & Payment
📅 Lesson Schedule
⏰ Attendance & Missed Lessons:
Your weekly lesson time is reserved just for you.
Consistent attendance = faster progress! 🎻
Missed Lesson Policy:
1️⃣ 1 Free Cancellation per Semester – No charge, for any reason.
2️⃣ Make-Up Lessons
✔ 1 make-up lesson is allowed per semester with at least 48 hours’ notice
✔ Make-ups are only possible if I already have an opening that week
✔ If I offer a make-up time, you must let me know whether you will take it or forfeit
✔ If the offered time is declined, the lesson is forfeited and tuition is still charged
3️⃣ Additional Cancellations – Not rescheduled or refunded.
4️⃣ Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows – Tuition will still be charged, and no make-up will be given.
5️⃣ Can’t come in person? Take your lesson online (FaceTime, Microsoft Team).

🎻 Discontinuing Lessons
Enrollment is considered ongoing from semester to semester. Unless you let me know otherwise, I’ll assume lessons are continuing and your spot is reserved. If you do decide to discontinue, please notify me in advance if possible, so we can plan a meaningful final lesson together. I will always support your decision and want to ensure a positive closure.

💖 Here’s what you can expect from me:
- I will treat all students and families with care and respect.
- I will always give my best in every music lesson.
- I will respond to emails or texts promptly and professionally.
- I will listen to your concerns and do my best to solve any problems.
- I will own up to mistakes on the rare occasion I am human.
- Arrive on time and ready for lessons.
- Communicate absences with as much notice as possible via E-mail or Text.
- Support regular practice at home to keep progress steady.
- Respect the studio policies, which help me teach all families fairly.
💰 Tuition & Payment
- Tuition is due on the 1st of each month or at your first lesson of the month.
- Semester payments are welcome to simplify billing.
- Accepted payment methods:

- I follow most public school district calendar, including:

🌸 Mid-Winter & Spring Break - Semesters:
🍂 Fall: September–January
🌷 Spring: February–June

- If I must cancel, I will reschedule or refund the lesson.
⏳ Lesson Length
- Lessons include a short transition so the next student starts on time:
🕒 30-min slot → 25-min lesson
🕓 45-min slot → 40-min lesson
🕕 60-min slot → 55-min lesson
❄ Snow Days, Emergencies
- Snow day or emergency?
All lessons will move online so learning never stops. 💻
🎯 Expectations for Students
- ✅ Arrive on time and prepared each week
- ✅ Follow practice guidelines provided
- ✅ Competitive students: minimum 3 rehearsals with pianist before events
🎹 Recitals
- 1 recital per year for students who are ready & qualified
- 🎶 Accompanist & facility fees are shared among families
